Protector Inspectors is a small company specializing in weekly inspections of your properties. Are you away from your Downeast Maine property for weeks or months at a time?
Our objective is to protect the interest of the homeowner. Your property is too valuable to leave unattended. Too many problems can arise that could be alleviated. Theft, vandalism, mold, mildew, frozen pipes, leaky roofs and flooded basements are all common occurrences when homes are unoccupied, unheated and unchecked. These weekly inspections from Protector Inspectors can minimize many of these issues and give you, the homeowner, peace of mind.
Our inspections include: Visual inspection of the outside of the home. Are there shingles missing off the roof? Has there been any forced entry? Are there any broken windows? Upon entering the house, does the house smell musty or moldy? Is there any smell of gas or oil (Heating oil)? Are there any visual signs of water damage, broken pipes or water stains on the ceilings or walls? If the home has a basement, is the basement wet? During the winter time: Can the fire department or police department navigate to the home? Snow plowing (optional) can be provided to ensure our cities rescue personnel can perform their duties. Is there too much snow on the roof? A phone call to you will be made on issues needing immediate attention. A detailed report will be e-mailed on your property after inspection on a weekly basis.
